Of course my fondest memories are of those early '60's evenings walking "round and round" listening to the loud music and just waiting for someone to ask you to dance. Those were the wonderful, innocent days.

I now live about an hour from there, and drive by often. And, it always makes me remember the good times I had there and all the friends I met. For one thing, you’re expected to drink alcohol and work at the same time. It’s written on the job description, right next to must be an ex-cop and must drive an exotic automobile. I was never a cop, and my ’96 GMC Jimmy is about as exotic as butter on bread. Do I drink on the job? Only when I’m not planning to chase a brutal killer at high speeds across two counties, which I was excessively not planning to do one breezy April evening at a joint called The Neon Phoenix in St. Augustine.Jude Hardinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09994813046526310594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13875601.post-9703341309490716172008-05-07T13:26:00.000-04:002008-05-07T13:26:00.000-04:00I actually looked at the first line from "Lush Lif...I actually looked at the first line from "Lush Life" but it didn't sing like this one or yours.
